Recently, Year One enjoyed a trip to the Museum of London. As part of their Humanities topic, the children have been learning about Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole. Year 3 children have been learning about the life of Guru Nanak and why he is important to Sikhs. As part of this topic, year 3 visited a Gurdwara in our local area, to learn about some Sikh beliefs and customs.

On Tuesday 20th March, 2W performed their class assembly which was all about the ‘First Moon Landing’. They shared many exciting facts and the singing and acting was amazing! Well done 2W. You made us really proud!
Year 1 went to Baps Shri Swaminarayan Mandir to learn more about Hinduism. They enjoyed exploring the mandir and seeing a prayer service take place. Year 1 had a wonderful time developing their understanding of the Hindu faith!
On Friday 9th March, 5J performed their class assembly all about the first moon landing to the Juniors and the adults. They all acted wonderfully in their roles with such enthusiasm and sang aloud beautifully! Well done 5J, we are very proud of you!
Book week was a great success. Two authors: Ross Welford and Holly Webb visited our school and the children read some of their books throughout the week. Children across the school dressed up in their favourite book character. The costumes looked super! Signed copies of the authors books were given
