Really well done to all of those children who entered into our Reading Bingo Challenge.  I know that Ms Grasby, Mrs Siggins and Miss Jobanputra have really enjoyed looking at all the entries and there will be prizes coming soon in assembly.  Reading is such an important skill to develop and also brings much joy, this is why we always encourage our children to read as much as possible.  Many of our classes have visited Burnt Oak library (those who have not yet gone will have a visit soon).  This is a great resource and the visits have been really valuable.

Last week we had the photographer in to take can you get antidepressants over the counter class photos.  He commented, when he had finished, that every class he met were well behaved, polite and so well mannered.    It always makes me feel so proud of the children when I hear comments such as these.  Well done everyone.

Please remember the importance of your children being in on time. The bell is rung at 8.55am and this is when school starts.  There are still some children arriving after this point and they are missing the first part of their learning.  Lateness does impact on a child’s academic performance.  Don’t  let this be your child who misses out on important learning.
