Wednesday 13th June 2018

This week Miss Halil and Miss Rich took members of the school choir to perform at the Arts Depot as part of the Barnet Music Festival.  The children sang brilliantly and it was a really amazing event for them to be part of.  Everyone was very proud of them.

This week is script writing week.  The children are learning about the key features of writing a film script and then they are using these to create their own mini-films.  The children are all full of wonderful ideas and they are also developing new skills.

Please put Thursday 28th June into your diary.  Our International Evening is fast approaching.  As I walk around the school I can see all the year groups learning their dances and getting ready for their where to buy nexium performances.  We really do look forward to as many of you as possible joining us for this event.  If you are also able to contribute some food – this would be amazing.  This really is a great event due to the support and enthusiasm we get from children, parents and staff.

Many of our Year 6 children are off to Tolmers Camp next week.  This is a fabulous opportunity for them to take part in experiences that they cannot get in school.  We will miss them but hope that they have a wonderful time.  Those children not going to Tolmers will be having a trip to Wembley Stadium with Mrs Kanter and I know that they will also be doing some great things here at school.
