At the end of last week all the parents of children in Years 1 – 6 would have received their reports. We look forward to seeing you on our two parents evenings to discuss your child’s progress further. The first one is on Thursday 22nd March and the second one is on Tuesday 27th March. If you have not yet arranged a slot to meet with your child’s teacher do try to do that as soon as possible.
It’s going to be a busy end to the term. Year 1, 3 and 5 all have trips this week. We also have our annual Easter competitions coming up. We ask the Infants to make an Easter Bonnet for the last day of term (Thursday 29th March) and for the Junior children to do a design using a boiled egg (also on Thursday 29th March). The children never fail to amaze us with their creativity and I look forward to seeing what they come up with this year. If you are looking for inspiration have a look through pictures on the website of the entries from last year.
The very last day is also going to be a non-uniform day. We are going to be raising money for our charity this year – which is Guide Dogs for the Blind. We are asking the children for a £1 donation to dress up in bright clothing. It is ‘Brighten Up Day’.
The school finishes for the term on Thursday 29th March at 3.10pm and we are back to school on Monday 16th April at 8.55am. Remember our term dates are always on the front of the website if you need them.
