We had some of our Governors in to school this week. They commented on how proud they were of our children’s work and also how beautifully they walk around the school and the wonderful way the children treat each other. It always makes me very proud of the children when I am in classes and see just how hard they are trying and how much they are learning. Well done to all of the staff who always aim high with the children and also to the parents who really do support the school – thank you.
I have some dates for your diary. Next week we begin to get into the festive season!
- On Wednesday 6th December we have our Nursery and Reception Nativity to parents at 2pm. Entrance for this event will be via our office entrance at Silkstream Road.
- Then on Friday 8th December our Year 1 and 2 children will be performing their Nativity for parents. Again this will be at 2pm and entrance will be via the office entrance.
We do look forward to welcoming you to watch these.
Finally some of our Choir were in action last Saturday. They opened the St. Alphages Christmas Fete. I had a wonderful email from Father Alex saying how well the children sang. A big thanks for Miss Coussins and Miss Halil who run our school choir and prepared the children for this.
