Selected children from years 4-6 were selected to go on a theatre trip to watch Matilda. We had seats on the second row and the children loved experiencing the wonderful acting and singing.
On Wednesday 16th December the children from Barnfield sung beautifully at St Alphages’ church. There were some festive readings and even a cheerful performance from the Barnfield staff. This was another example of the many talents of our children and how well supported they are by the community. Thank you to all who were able to attend.
This week the juniors took part in their junior production, based on the traditional Christmas story with a twist. Children who took part did an amazing job performing, acting and singing; alongside all the other juniors throughout the school. What great talent and confidence all children showed. We are all extremely proud and would like to say a huge thank you for taking part and getting us all in to the Christmas spirit.
Last week our infant children performed their Nativity story. Children from Year 2 did a wonderful job of speaking, acting and singing and Year 1 children shone with their individual class songs. The infant children should be incredibly proud of all of their hard work; they are all superstars!
We are so proud of our Nursery and Reception children who performed their Nativity to parents and friends on Tuesday 8th December. The children did such a magical performance, bringing a smile to everyone’s face. Watch out the west end, we’ve got some budding actors from Barnfield on their way to stardom.
For our Charity Event we all dressed up to show everyone what we want to be when we grow up. Thank you very much to all our families for supporting our Charity Day. Can you guess who we want to be?

We enjoyed sketching Tower Bridge and observing the busy river life; full of people, boats and animal life. We had the added bonus of observing many popular London features and … Continue Reading
