Barnfield runs a daily After School Club. The club is run by members of the Barnfield School Staff and so the children are known to them. A member of the school Leadership Team is also always on duty and on site until the last child has been collected. There are opportunities for the children to complete their homework, with support provided by the staff running it. Many different activities also take place. These will include crafts, games and at times cooking. We try to make it a fun place for the children to be.
There are two pick up times : 4.30 and 6.00pm. It is not possible to collect at times outside of these as the club will be using various areas of the school. The pickup point is always by our Computing Room. Please ask the school office if you are unsure of where this is.
The changes for this are as follows:
Until 4.30pm – £5.00
Up to 6.00pm – £6.50
All children must be collected at the time booked by their parent/carer or there are additional costs due to staffing ratios that are in place.
All charges must be paid in advance to the school office. Payments cannot be made to the After School Club staff.
Sessions cancelled on the day will not be refunded.
Children must be registered to attend the After School Club – this ensures that we have the information needed to contact parents/carers.
Please see the school office to obtain a form.
If a parent wishes to discuss any issues of the running of the club – please call Mrs O’Sullivan, our Pastoral Manager, as the After School club are responsible for supervising the children.
