Children in Years 1 – 6 received their reports last Friday and this week all parents have the opportunity to talk to the teacher about the progress that has been made and targets for the future. We look forward to seeing parents this Thursday (28th March) and also on Tuesday (2nd April). Please ensure that you have signed up with the class teacher for a slot.
On Friday we have a cake sale. This is a fundraising event to raise money for playground equipment. Any donation of cakes would be amazing, please could they be sent into school on Friday morning. We will be selling them in the playground (under the shelter in the middle) straight after school on Friday. Have a look for them, I am sure they will sell fast!
Next week is our last week before we finish for the end of this term. We have two competitions running on the last day. Our Infant children (Year 1 and 2) have an Easter Bonnet assembly – where there are prizes for the best Easter/Spring hat. Whilst our Junior children (Year 3-6) are challenged to decorate a hard boiled egg. I never cease to be amazed by how creative our children are with this competition. If you need some inspiration do have a look at events from last year on the website and you will see lots of ways that the children use their imagination.
Remember that we finish on Friday 5th April at 3.10pm and the children return to school on Tuesday 23rd April at 8.55am
