Thank you to all the families who came to watch the budding actors and actresses of the West End in their Nativity performance. The children did a wonderful job singing, dancing and acting and brought us all some Christmas cheer! Happy Christmas everyone!

We just had our 7th Creativity Week at Barnfield Primary where children look at the work of various artists and pull it apart across the curriculum. Across the school the children tackled this with such impressive flair and an artistic explosion took place! In our last week of the Autumn term we celebrated ‘Diversity Week’. We are very proud at Barnfield of the wealth of different cultures that make up our community. Some of our parents kindly volunteered, teaching us about different traditions which classes thoroughly enjoyed. The children participated in a range of activities which encouraged the children to develop their understanding and respect, enriching their own experiences. School Council Minutes- 5th November 2018 The school council met today to discuss ideas for the upcoming charity event on Friday 16th November. Due to one year group being out on a trip, it was decided that children should still wear school uniform, but they could also wear 1 item of yellow clothing.
