Thank you to all the families who came to watch the budding actors and actresses of the West End in their Nativity performance. The children did a wonderful job singing, dancing and acting and brought us all some Christmas cheer! Happy Christmas everyone!
What a stunning celebration our gallery event was on Thursday the 6th of December, showcasing all the gorgeous work created by the children across the school from Creativity Week. We are so proud of our Barnfield artists and to quote one mum ‘’it just keeps getting better every year … so impressive’’. Thank you to all for coming to support the event. I think all the artists studied in Creativity Week including Alexander Calder, Matisse, Piet Mondrian, Kandinsky, Antony Gormley, … Continue Reading
We just had our 7th Creativity Week at Barnfield Primary where children look at the work of various artists and pull it apart across the curriculum. Across the school the children tackled this with such impressive flair and an artistic explosion took place! In Reception and Key Stage One, we remembered about the importance of taking care of our teeth. To help us to celebrate good dental hygiene we received a dental health kit, including a toothbrush, toothpaste and sticker. At Barnfield we know lots of ways to stay healthy and happy!
The children had a fantastic time at the farm and found Mrs Gunn’s favourite animals! We went on a tractor ride, fed some goats and explored the adventure playground.
Reception classes worked so hard on their class assemblies of the Billy Goats Gruff! We loved singing about the three billy goats and the terrible troll!
