Gardening at Barnfield!

One on our five values in Barnfield is “Healthy Me” and one way we are showing this is by growing vegetables in our school garden. Children from year 1-6 all got involved and learned about why vegetables are an important part of a healthy diet, how to best take care for our garden and how to make sure plants stay healthy. The garden is now in full bloom thanks to the children’s care and I am excited to try out all the delicious dishes the children will make with their vegetables!
