Wednesday 3rd July 2019

A massive thank you to everyone who came to International Evening, who cooked food to share and who joined in this very special event with us all, it was a wonderful evening.  I would like to say a very special ‘Thank You’ to Sharyn Biggs (our Nursery Teacher) who organised this whole event, I think you will agree with me that it was amazing.

On Friday we celebrate the school turning 90! In the morning the children will be learning what life was like 90 years ago and then in the afternoon the children are having a party.  Parents do not need to provide any food for this – look out for pictures on the website.

Our latest news is that we have been awarded the ‘Green Flag’ for all our eco-work.  We already hold bronze and silver. However, following a very detailed assessment process by an external assessor we were awarded the highest rank possible.  She was so impressed with our Eco-Warrior and our Recycling Rangers and all of the work that the children have carried out this year on environmental issues.  We are very proud of this award.  I would like to say a huge thank you to Miss Heath (Year 6 teacher) who has worked so hard for us to get this and has inspired everyone in the school to get involved.  A fabulous achievement.
