Wrapround Childcare Survey

 

Early Years Provision (for children under 5):

By September 2025, most working families with children under the age of five will be entitled to 30 hours of childcare support. The changes are being introduced gradually to make sure that providers can meet the needs of more families. Wraparound (for primary school-aged children)

The government are also investing in schools and local areas to set up or expand wraparound childcare provision, with the ambition for all parents of primary school aged children to have the option to access childcare from 8am – 6pm. This includes provision of both breakfast and after school clubs. As a school, we are working to establish what our parents’ demand for wraparound is, and if there is currently any unmet demand.
