This week is Health Week and we have a really strong focus on thinking about how we can look after our bodies through exercise and healthy eating. The children are already very knowledgeable about this and have been keen to share their ideas on the real importance of staying healthy. It has also been fabulous to see the children taking part in their class ‘Dance-a-thon’, they all have such energy! Thank you to all of you who have sponsored the children as this has helped us to raise money for our school charity (our playgrounds). We still have more to learn this week and we also have a visit from a dentist, Dr Stellman, who is going to be talking to all year groups about the importance of looking after our teeth.
This half term seems to have flown by. I can’t believe that we finish on Friday for a week. We look forward to seeing the children in school again on Tuesday 4th June at 8.55am! Keep checking the websites for updates as the last half term of the school year is always full. We have sports days, international evening and we will also be celebrating the birthday of the school in July. There is so much still to look forward to.
